Appreciation and Volunteering

The Orange Sunday is a non-profit event. It cannot live without the help of many individuals who love and support the project. If you have a skill you would like to share with the Orange Sunday, or if your company would like to be a sponsor, please contact us about opportunities.

Here are some of the many people who have donated time and skills to the session:

Oliver Doering and Dana Arvig

As co-founders of the art olive cultural center, Oliver and Dana have generously donated a club room to the Orange Sunday. Oliver conceptualized the session, and does the organizational work to make the session happen each month. He is also the session leader and main guitarist. Dana maintains the website and organizes the bar.

Florian Jung

Florian has been a true supporter since the early days: As a pianist he played several shows. As a TV media professional he organized the filming of several excellent videos: He assisted us with camera rental, setting up the light right and brought a professional TV collegue. A lot of his (unpaid) work also went into editing this footage thus enabled us to have the four impressive videos you see here on the website.

Thomas Rissmann

Thomas also has been a long-time Orange Sunday supporter: As a bass player he is a frequent guest on stage. As a professional sound tech he maintains the sound system, the stage monitoring and our professional recordings. He also helped finding the right P.A. system and got us a great deal on the purchasing. He and müllermusic turned the venue from an improvised amateur stage with mediocre equipement to a great sounding club that is now fun for musicians and audience alike.

Joslyn Rechter

Joslyn comes early to every session and provides us with wonderful home-made food for the musicians. She helps us out with whatever last minute tasks need to be done. She is also responsible for some of the great fan videos on the website (e.g. the video "Audience Impressions").

FotoMac photographed numerous sessions through the years and provided many of our best photos.

Sabine Olschner and Bernhard Ankly also took some great photos we were able to use.

Hanna Milda und Claudia Hossner

Hanna und Claudia work at the bar and have come up with some great innovations to improve it: In their free time time they organized our snack menu and prepared several aspects of food for the show. Their charming personality is just one more reason why our visitors feel at home when they attend the session.

Our Audience

We are greatly inspired by the enthusiasm of our fans. Our audience provides the inspiration to keep the session going and we love the positive feedback we have been receiving on facebook.
